Light sleep is important for mental and physical restoration

Deep sleep is important for physical recovery and memory along with learning.

Sleep is VERY important. I get at least 9 hours of sleep a night! Sleep keeps me healthy. I have not been sick in a very long time, and I attribute this to the amount of sleep I get each night. Sleep also helps my brain. I am a better learner when I get all of those hours of sleep.
